help me welcome a new mindset — one that leans into rhythm, responsibility, and steady purpose.
As the leaves change in bursts of color,
remind me that beauty often comes from transition, not comfort.
Let their turning teach me to release what’s finished
and embrace what’s beginning.
With October approaching,
stir joy in the anticipation of Halloween fun —
the costumes, the laughter, the light‑heartedness
that reminds me not to take life too seriously.
With football season in full swing and baseball coming to a close,
keep me grounded in teamwork, grit,
and showing up even when the days get colder.
As the first semester reaches its midpoint, steady my focus.
Strengthen my discipline.
Renew my motivation.
Help me carry the energy I need to finish this season well.
Lord, let fall be a reminder that change is not loss — it’s growth.
Let every cool morning, every bright leaf, every game,
every class, every moment of this season draw me closer to You.

We thank You for the gift of comedy

where humor helped us recognize ourselves,
